The wireless adapter is used to connect your heating appliance to your home wireless network. It allows you to control your heating appliance with your smart device (phone, tablet, etc.).
The Fumis wireless adapter set consists of a WiRCU module, power supply, and data cables.
ATTENTION:
Fumis Link adapter only works with heating appliances that use the Fumis Alpha controller which does not use proprietary software (eg. Austrflamm, Palazzetti, etc.).
Before installing, check the coverage of your home wireless network. The Fumis Link adapter needs a sufficient wireless signal to operate.
This manual consists of basic instructions for installing and operating the Fumis Link adapter and Fumis App. It does not contain the operating instructions for your heating appliance.

Attention! Fumis Link wireless adapter can be installed only by trained personnel authorized by the manufacturer of your heating appliance. Any modifications to your heating appliance could lead to a warranty loss. We advise you to contact the manufacturer of your heating device or the person who installed it.
ATech elektronika d.o.o. is not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from improper use or installation of the Fumis Link wireless adapter. In addition, ATech elektronika d.o.o. is not liable for any warranty loss due to the installation or modification of your heating device by an unauthorized person or the user himself.
Exposure to liquids:
Do not expose the product to water, cleaning agents, solvents, or any other liquids as it may damage the electronics, cause malfunctions or failure and become a life-threatening hazard.

Recommendations
Cleaning:
The Fumis Link adapter does not require special cleaning. However, if cleaning use a dry cloth to gently wipe the module.
Servicing:
The Fumis Link adapter has been designed for long-life operation and does not require special maintenance. However, in the case of malfunctions, ATech elektronika d.o.o. strongly recommends that you contact the authorized technician for your heating appliance or the person who installed it.
Warranty and general conditions
ATech elektronika d.o.o. guarantees products against errors in material and workmanship for 1 year after delivery (with original receipt). The warranty period starts on the day of delivery and is conditioned by the professional installation and proper use of the product, as described in this guide.
ATech elektronika d.o.o. reserves the right to apply technical modifications without prior notice.
ATech elektronika d.o.o. is not liable for malfunction and injuries that are a consequence of: external, chemical, and physical influences during transport, storage, installation, and use of Fumis products (for example, but not limited to: water leakage, exposure of the electronics to steam, exhaust fumes, ash, and temperatures outside the specified range).

Use
Installation
Warning: Your heating appliance is connected to the mains (power grid)! The installation can be performed by authorized personnel only. Before disassembling your heating appliance, disconnect it from the mains and make sure there is no voltage present.
Before installation, please check that you have received all the necessary parts (picture below):

The WiRCU module can be connected to the Fumis Alpha controller or the Fumis display (Alpha UI, Premium UI, etc.)
Attention! Install the WiRCU module on the outside of the heating appliance. The metal housing of the appliance may interfere with the signal strength of your home wireless network.
Connection to the Fumis Alpha controller
1. Make sure you have disconnected the appliance from the mains.
2. Disconnect the data cable from the Fumis Alpha controller.
3. Plug the data cable splitter into the data port on the controller.
4. Connect the data cable to the splitter.
5. Connect the WiRCU module to the splitter via the included data cable.
6. Connect the included power supply to the WiRCU module (micro USB).
Connection to the Fumis display
1. Make sure you have disconnected the appliance from the mains.
2. Disconnect the data cable from the Fumis display.
3. Plug the data cable splitter into the data port on the display.
4. Connect the data cable to the splitter.
5. Connect the WiRCU module to the splitter via the included data cable.
6. Connect the included power supply to the WiRCU module (micro USB).
Software installation
The latest version of the Fumis app is always available to download from the 'Google Play Store' (for the Android operating system) or the 'App Store' (for the iOS operating system).
The app is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 (or newer) and iOS 12.0 (or newer).
Install the Fumis app on your smart device (phone, tablet, etc.).
Android devices
Connecting to a wireless network
1. Enable the wireless network connection on your smart device.
2. Enable the location on your smart device.
3. Disable the automatic network switching (smart network switching) function on your smart device.
4. Run the Fumis app.
5. Read the end-user license agreement and confirm if you agree.
6. The app will ask you 'Have you already connected the heating device to your WiFi?'
7. Select 'No' and follow the WiFi setup procedure (In case you selected 'Yes' by mistake tap on 'Setup heating device WiFi').
8. Follow the on-screen instructions and press the WiFi button on your WiRCU module. After pressing the button, the WiFi LED light should start flashing quickly.
9. Press 'Start WiFi setup' in the app.
10 . After a while, the app will detect your WiRCU module and display it under a name with the format 'WiRCU - ******'. Select it.
11. In the next step select your home network.
12. Carefully enter the security password for your home network and press 'Next'.
13. Wait until you see the message 'Settings sent successfully', then disconnect and reconnect the WiRCU module from its power supply (both cables).
14. Wait until all three LED lights on the WiRCU module are steady lit, otherwise repeat step 13 (disconnect-reconnect), or repeat all steps (1-14).
Entering MAC and PIN numbers
Back on the app main screen you have to enter the MAC and PIN numbers of your WiRCU module.
Check for MAC and PIN numbers located on the WiRCU module (label).
Insert MAC and PIN numbers inside the app when prompted.
If you want, you can select the 'Remember MAC and PIN' option.
If you are still experiencing problems, check your router settings or contact your internet provider for assistance.
iOS devices
Connecting to a wireless network
1. Enable the wireless network connection on your smart device.
2. Run the Fumis app and allow the notification permission.
3. Read the end-user license agreement and confirm if you agree.
4. The app will ask you 'Have you already connected the heating device to your WiFi?'
5. Select 'No' and follow the WiFi setup procedure (In case you selected 'Yes' by mistake tap on 'Setup heating device WiFi').
6. Follow the on-screen instructions and press the WiFi button on your WiRCU module. After pressing the button, the WiFi LED light should start flashing quickly.
7. Open the wireless network settings on your smart device and connect to 'WiRCU - ******' network.
8. Return to the Fumis app and press 'Next'.
9. Allow the location permission.
10. Choose your home network.
11. Carefully enter the security password for your home network and press 'Next'.
12. Wait until you see the message 'Settings sent successfully', then disconnect and reconnect the WiRCU module from its power supply (both cables).
13. Wait until all three LED lights on the WiRCU module are steady lit, otherwise repeat step 13 (disconnect-reconnect), or repeat all steps (1-14).
14. There will be a pop-up, asking for permission to find nearby devices. Allow it.
Entering MAC and PIN numbers
Back on the app main screen you have to enter the MAC and PIN numbers of your WiRCU module.
Check for MAC and PIN numbers located on the WiRCU module (label).
Insert MAC and PIN numbers inside the app when prompted.
If you want, you can select the 'Remember MAC and PIN' option.
If you are still experiencing problems, check your router settings or contact your internet provider for assistance.
Status LED lights description
CONT
Flashing: Establishing communication with the heating appliance.
Lit: Communication with the heating appliance established.
STATUS
Flashing quickly (0.2 s ON/OFF): The WiRCU module is not connected to the power supply (only to the appliance).
Flashing (0.5 s ON/OFF): Connecting to the server.
Flashing slowly (1 s ON/OFF): Connection to the server established, receiving data.
Lit: The WiRCU module is ready to use.
WiFi
Flashing quickly (0.2 s ON/OFF): The WiRCU module is in pairing mode. Connect to the WiRCU module with the Fumis App on your smart deivce to finish the provisioning process.
Flashing (0.5 s ON/OFF): Connecting to home network access point.
Flashing slowly (1 s ON/OFF): Requesting IP address.
Lit: Connection established.
Note: During normal operation, all 3 LED lights are lit (WiFi light may blink to signal communication)
Reset to factory defaults
This function deletes all saved wireless networks from the WiRCU module:
Press and hold the WiFi button on the WiRCU module until the WiFi LED lights up, then release the button.
Disconnect the power supply from the WiRCU module (both cables) and reconnect it after 5 seconds.
